About Vanessa
First and foremost, I am a mom to one human child and three fur babies who I adore. I am also a wife to a loving, hardworking husband. I graduated from Ella T. Grasso Technical High School with a cosmetology license in 2002 and have been behind the chair ever since.
After owning my first salon, I ventured out specializing in weddings, traveling all over New England. I opened a very small makeup studio in 2015 where I have focused my skill in all types of makeup artistry, including Special Effects, Dance Competitions, and Fashion Shoots.
I have worked New York City’s Fashion Week for 5 seasons as well as Rhode Island’s Style Week. In 2019 and 2021, I won 1st place in The Day’s Reader’s Choice Awards for “Best Hair & Makeup.” In 2022 I won 1st place for “Best Makeup Artist”.
In 2019 , I became certified with the company Elleebana to do henna brow treatments and lash lifts. I have also added Brow Lamination to my list of services. In 2020, I opened my second full service salon offering all hair, makeup, lashes, brows services after renting a chair for 10 years as well as continue to travel to service brides.
I continue to perfect and learn new techniques by attending classes every year to stay up to date in the latest trends and fashion. I have a passion for everything beauty and enjoy revealing a woman’s true beauty.
